Before You Buy
Compare Fridges. Know What It Costs to Keep One Running.
Pick up to three. We will show you the specs, the filter each one takes, whether we can actually supply it in Trinidad, and what independent testers found — where anyone has actually tested it.
We sell filters, not fridges. We earn nothing if you buy any of these — which is exactly why we will tell you when a fridge is expensive or awkward to keep running here. Two of the fridges on this page take filters we cannot supply you, and we have said so on their cards. Nobody else selling you a fridge in Trinidad is going to mention that.
How to read this. Specifications come from each manufacturer's own published spec sheet — linked on every row, so you can check us. Independent verdicts are our own short summaries of tests run by Reviewed (USA Today), linked in full; we have not copied their words and we do not speak for them. Where a fridge has never been independently tested we say so plainly rather than filling the space. Reliability figures, where shown, are Yale Appliance's published first-year service rates from their Boston-area dealership — useful, but not Trinidad data. Photos marked “representative” show the closest model we have photographed, not that exact unit.

Browse by manufacturer — recognise your fridge, arrow through the models, then order the right NSF compliant filter and watch how to change it.
Not sure which model you have? WhatsApp us your fridge model number — it's on a sticker inside the left door — and we'll identify your filter instantly.
The National Sanitation Foundation is an independent American organisation that tests products against strict public health standards. When a filter carries NSF certification it means a third party — not the manufacturer — verified it actually does what it claims.
NSF 42
Taste & Odour
Your water tastes and smells better. Removes chlorine and the bad taste that comes with it.
✓ All Find & Dandy filters

NSF 53
Health Effects
Removes lead up to 99.6%, cryptosporidium, giardia cysts, and volatile organic compounds. The serious health certification.
⭐ Waterdrop® Plus only
NSF 401
Emerging Contaminants
Removes trace pharmaceuticals (ibuprofen, estrogen), pesticides, herbicides, and PFOA/PFOS — the "forever chemicals."
⭐ Waterdrop® Plus only
Waterdrop® — NSF certified (NSF 42 & 372; Plus models also 53 & 401). Just Dandy™ — manufactured to NSF/ANSI 42 & 372 standards.
Certification Coverage
What Every Filter Covers
Waterdrop® filters are NSF certified. Just Dandy™ filters are manufactured to NSF/ANSI 42 & 372 standards.
★ Waterdrop® Plus filters meet all four NSF standards — 42, 372, 53, and 401 — the highest NSF standard level for a refrigerator water filter.
Our Story
Trinidad's home for NSF standard compliant replacement filters.
Find & Dandy started with a simple question: why were filter options in Trinidad mostly OEM originals at full price, or unverified knockoffs with no standard behind them?
We're a Trinidad-based business built on one principle — if it goes into your family's drinking water, it must meet independent standards. Waterdrop® filters are NSF certified; Just Dandy™ filters are manufactured to NSF/ANSI 42 & 372 standards — independent American benchmarks, not just our word.
We sell filters built to NSF standards, we price fairly, and we deliver to your door.

Will a non-OEM filter void my warranty? ▼
In the vast majority of cases, no. Under warranty regulations that most major appliance brands follow globally, a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you used a compatible replacement part that meets the standard. NSF standard compliant filters from Find & Dandy meet or exceed the filtration standards of OEM filters. We recommend keeping your purchase receipt as documentation.
Is a non-OEM certified filter actually safe? ▼
Yes — when it meets NSF standards. NSF is an independent American organisation that sets lab-tested performance standards, not manufacturer claims. Waterdrop® filters are NSF certified; Just Dandy™ filters are manufactured to NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 standards. Waterdrop® Plus models are also certified for NSF 53 and NSF 401. A filter with no standard behind it — from any brand — gives you no benchmark at all.
How long does the filter last? ▼
Most refrigerator water filters are rated for 6 months or approximately 300 gallons of filtered water — whichever comes first. Your fridge will usually display a filter indicator light. Sign up for our WhatsApp reminder and we'll notify you when it's time.
How do I know which filter fits my fridge? ▼
Use the filter checker above, or send your fridge model number (usually on a sticker inside the left door) via WhatsApp to +1 (868) 310-0295. We'll confirm before you pay. For Quality Replacement Samsung® fridge filters: HAF-CIN and HAF-QIN are NOT interchangeable — always verify which connection type you have.
How do I order and pay? ▼
WhatsApp us at +1 (868) 310-0295. Tell us your filter model (or fridge model number) and we'll confirm availability and price. Payment options include bank transfer, credit card, and cash on delivery depending on your area. Delivery within 3 days — we confirm your slot on WhatsApp.
Do you deliver nationwide? ▼
Yes. We deliver across Trinidad — north, south, east, west, and central. Tobago delivery available — ask us for lead times. Delivery within 3 days across Trinidad. Delivery is TT$40 — free when you trade in your old filter.
What's the difference between Waterdrop® and Waterdrop® Plus? ▼
Both carry NSF 42 (taste/odour) and NSF 372 (lead-free materials). Waterdrop® Plus adds NSF 53 (removes lead up to 99.6%, cysts, heavy metals) and NSF 401 (removes pharmaceuticals, PFAS/PFOS "forever chemicals," pesticides). If you have children or anyone with health sensitivities, Waterdrop® Plus is the stronger choice.
Why choose a certified filter over a cheaper alternative? ▼
NSF standards define how effectively a filter must reduce specific contaminants. Waterdrop® filters are NSF certified; Just Dandy™ filters are manufactured to NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 standards — Waterdrop® Plus models are also certified for NSF 53 and 401.
Do I need a plumber to change the filter? ▼
No. All internal fridge filters (Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire) are designed to be changed by the homeowner — no tools needed. It is a twist or push action that takes under 2 minutes. The only exception is the Universal Inline Filter, which sits on the water supply line behind the fridge and requires disconnecting a tube, but still no plumber.
Why does my water look cloudy or grey after installing? ▼
Completely normal. New activated carbon filters trap air during manufacturing. The first 2–3 litres you dispense will flush out trapped air (which looks milky-white) and fine carbon particles (which look grey). The water is safe to drink but has an off appearance. Run your dispenser for about 2 minutes and it clears up. Do not skip the flush.
The filter indicator light is still on after I changed the filter — why? ▼
The indicator light tracks time elapsed, not the physical filter. Swapping the filter does not reset it — you must press the reset button manually after every change. Find your brand below for the exact steps.
🔵 Samsung®
Most models (French Door / Side-by-Side):
Hold "Ice Type" + "Child Lock" simultaneously for 3 seconds. The light turns green or disappears.
Newer Touch Panel models (2020+):

Press and hold "Filter Reset" on the control panel for 5 seconds. The indicator changes from red to green or turns off.
Models with "LT" button on display:

How much water should I flush after installing? ▼
A minimum of 2 litres (about half a gallon) is enough for most internal filters. We recommend 3 litres to be thorough. For the Universal Inline Filter, flush 2 litres as well. The flush removes air pockets and carbon fines — both harmless, but best cleared before drinking. Discard the flush water or use it to water plants.

Samsung® · DA29-00020B (HAF-CIN) · 2012–2019 French Door▼
Location: Inside the fridge, upper-right corner behind a twist-off cap.
Steps:
Open the fridge and locate the filter housing in the top-right interior corner.
Twist the old filter counter-clockwise (about ¼ turn) until it unlocks, then pull straight out.
Transfer the end cap from the old filter to the new one if the new filter did not include one.
Insert the new filter and twist clockwise until it clicks firmly into place.
Run 2–3 litres through the dispenser to flush air and carbon fines.
Reset the indicator: hold "Ice Type" or "Child Lock" for 3 seconds until the light changes.
⚠️ Important: HAF-CIN (DA29) and HAF-QIN (DA97) are NOT interchangeable — check the sticker inside your fridge door before ordering.
Location: Bottom-left of the fridge interior, behind a pull-down cover.
Steps:
Locate the filter in the bottom-left corner of the fridge interior.
Press the eject button or pull down the cover to release the old filter.
Pull the old filter straight out.
Insert the new LT1000PC until it clicks securely into place.
Dispense 2–3 litres of water to flush.
Reset the indicator: press and hold "Filter Reset" on the display for 5 seconds.
💡 Tip: LG French Door owners also need the LT120F air filter. Most people don't know about it until the fridge starts to smell. Ask us when you order — we stock it.
Location: Bottom-left or upper-left of the fridge interior — twist-and-pull.
Steps:
Locate the filter compartment (bottom-left or upper-left depending on your model).
Rotate the old filter counter-clockwise and pull straight out.
Insert the new LT700P, aligning the tabs with the housing notches.
Push in and rotate clockwise until it locks.
Flush 2–3 litres through the dispenser.
Reset the filter light by pressing "Filter Reset" for 3–5 seconds.
💡 LT700P was replaced by LT1000PC in 2017 models — confirm which your fridge uses before ordering. Pair with the LT120F air filter for complete freshness.
LG® · LT120F · Fresh Air Filter (all French Door models)▼
Location: Inside the fridge, rear wall behind a grille panel.
Steps:
Locate the air filter housing on the rear interior wall of the fridge.
Press the release tab and pull out the old LT120F cartridge.
Slide the new cartridge in until it clicks.
No water flush needed — this is an air filter, not a water filter.
ℹ️ The LT120F removes odours inside the fridge compartment. It does not affect water quality. Replace every 6 months — ideally at the same time as your water filter.
Location — two possible places, same filter:
• US-built models (WRF560SEHZ, WRS325SDHZ, WRS571CIHZ): inside the fridge, top-right corner, behind a flip-open door.
• The 7WRS25SDHM sold at Courts (Whirlpool México build): in the BASE GRILLE — bottom front of the fridge, behind a small hinged door.
Steps:
Find your housing: look top-right inside the fridge first. No filter there? Open the small door in the base grille at the bottom front.
Open the housing door — the old filter pops part-way out. Pull it straight out.
Pull the two protective caps off the O-rings on the new filter.
Push the new filter straight in. Close the door firmly until it snaps home — you may need to press hard.
Dispense 4 litres to flush.
Reset: hold "Water Filter" or "Filter Reset" for 3 seconds.
⚠️ Filter 1 pushes in — it does not screw in. If yours twists out, you are looking at a Filter 3 or Filter 5 housing, which takes a different cartridge. WhatsApp us a photo and we will tell you which you have.
💡 Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid and Amana are all made by the same parent company — many share the same filter. On Latin-American units the box may read W10790813: that is the export part number for the same everydrop Filter 1 (it replaces W10295370A). Confirm your filter is "Filter 1" (EDR1) before ordering.
Location: Upper-right interior of the fridge — twist-in housing.
Steps:
Locate the filter housing in the upper-right interior corner.
Twist the old filter counter-clockwise and pull out.
Insert the new EDR4RXD1 (also labelled UKF8001) and rotate clockwise to lock.
Flush 4 litres through the dispenser.
Reset the indicator: hold "Water Filter" or "Filter Reset" for 3 seconds until the light turns blue or goes off.
ℹ️ EDR4RXD1 is the modern equivalent of the older UKF8001 — both names refer to the same filter position. KitchenAid and Jenn-Air use this same filter (both Whirlpool-owned brands).
Location: Inside the fridge, upper-right corner — twist-in cylindrical housing.
Steps:
Locate the cylindrical filter housing in the upper-right interior corner.
Rotate the old filter counter-clockwise about ¼ turn and pull straight down.
Insert the new MWF filter and rotate clockwise until it locks.
Dispense 2 litres of water to flush.
Reset the indicator: hold "Reset Filter" or "Water Filter" for 8 seconds.
💡 MWF and MWFP are the same filter — MWFP just includes a plastic cap. Hotpoint French Door models use the same MWF. If the filter is stiff to remove after a year or more, a firm ¼-turn is normal.
Location: On the water supply tube behind or beneath the fridge — inline fitting.
Steps:
Turn off the water supply valve behind or beneath the refrigerator.
Pull the fridge out from the wall to access the water supply line.
Push the collar on the quick-connect fitting toward the fitting and pull the tube out — repeat on both ends of the old filter.
Connect the new inline filter to both tube ends — follow the flow arrow on the filter body (arrow points toward the fridge).
Turn the water supply back on and check both connections for drips.
Dispense 2 litres through the fridge dispenser to flush.
💡 Check both connections for leaks after the first 24 hours. The flow arrow on the filter body must point toward the fridge, not toward the wall supply.
